Charity Support

We aspire to be an ethically-based company and we are very aware of our responsibility towards wider communities; consequently, we have decided to give 1% of whatever you spend with us through our website to charity. We should stress that this is not money we have added to the cost of our products or an added donation but is a contribution from Castle Cleaning and Safety.

Our supported charities

We have consulted with a range of local and national charities and have decided to support:

Guide Dogs for the Blind
Salvation Army
The Blue Cross
Macmillan Cancer Support

How we will contribute?

We decided that 1% of every purchase (before VAT) should be donated directly to these charities. This means that when you buy from us 1p in every £ you spend with us directly benefits a good cause!

Please be assured that we are not asking you directly to make a donation; all monies donated are taken out of the amounts that you spend with us.

We are sure however that if you wish to directly contribute to these charities, they would be very grateful!

You can choose which charity to support

We are sure that you will have preferences over which charity you would like to support so, when you register or at the point of checkout, you can specify where you would like the donation to go.

If you have no preference, we will donate the money to the “Charity of the Month” which will rotate on a monthly basis.

This will add no extra cost to you but we hope that you will agree with us that this allows us all to support worthy causes in our communities.

Guide Dogs for the Blind

Guide Dogs Final logo RGB

Guide Dogs provide mobility services for children and adults who are blind or partially sighted. Our services include the training of guide dogs and other mobility services. There are over 4,700 guide dog owners in the UK and the average working life of a guide dog is five to six years. Guide Dogs needs to breed more than 1,300 guide dog pups each year. The guide dog service receives no government funding and depends entirely upon public support and gift in wills. It costs £5 per day to support each working guide dog partnership and the lifetime cost of a guide dog is around £50,000. Thank You for supporting Guide Dogs. .

Salvation Army

We don’t judge or condemn, we just help.

Family breakdown, unemployment, poverty, homelessness, and drug and alcohol dependency are just some of the reasons why people can lose everything they value, including their dignity.

The Salvation Army has a long history of working with people who are vulnerable and marginalised across the world and offer very practical help, unconditional assistance and support regardless of race, religion, gender or sexual orientation.

There are more than 800 Salvation Army social service centres and churches (corps). We run 120 drop-in centres offering support and help for people in need and serve 3,000,000 meals every year at community and residential centres
